Waveport is a rack and pinion Generator located in the waters of New York.

Manufactured by DEGIMA, this wave energy generator buoy integrates a pioneering tuning system capable of registering performance characteristics of waves, allowing us to adjust the generator´s resistance (Power-Take-Off) in order to maximize the energy generation.

Further to this, the University of Exeter developed algorithms for the perception of the wave’s characteristics obtaining feed-back information through the recorded data.
